Join our dedicated Family Help Team in Somerset as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) and play a pivotal role in supporting families in need. In this rewarding position, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families, providing vital interventions and support to promote positive outcomes and strengthen family relationships. Your expertise will be instrumental in assessing needs, developing tailored care plans, and ensuring the best possible services are delivered to families in our community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's and families' needs. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access appropriate resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Working collaboratively with multi-agency teams to ensure holistic support for families.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and family support work. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with families.
