Join our dedicated team in Somerset as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) specializing in Family Safeguarding. As a key member of our social work team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and their families, working collaboratively to facilitate positive outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and risks faced by children and families. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to support families in crisis. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, reports, and documentation. Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
