Join our dedicated team in South Gloucestershire as a Team Manager for the Front Door/Family Help Team. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dynamic group of qualified social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support and intervention for families in need. You will oversee the assessment of referrals, manage complex cases, and work collaboratively with partner agencies to promote the welfare and safety of children and families in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing a team of social workers and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice standards in safeguarding. Providing expert supervision and support to team members, facilitating professional development and training opportunities. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to coordinate effective intervention strategies for families. Monitoring and evaluating team performance, implementing strategies for improvement as needed.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Extensive experience in child protection and family support services. Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a team.
