Join our dynamic team in Southampton as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) specializing in Children and Young People aged 0-19. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families within our community. As a QSW, you will be responsible for assessing needs, developing care plans, and providing ongoing support to ensure the well-being and safety of vulnerable children and young people.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Working closely with schools, health services, and other agencies to promote the welfare of children. Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to enhance professional development.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working with children and young people in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
