We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr. Social Worker to join our Localities team in Bradford. This role is vital in delivering high-quality social care services to vulnerable individuals and families within the community. As a Sr. Social Worker, you will engage with clients to assess their needs, develop tailored intervention plans, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective service delivery.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs and risks. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with clients and their families. Providing direct support and guidance to clients, helping them navigate social services and community resources. Collaborating with healthcare professionals, educators, and community organizations to promote client wellbeing. Supervising and mentoring junior social workers and social work students. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with organizational policies.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registered with Social Work England. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in social work, preferably in a local authority setting. Strong understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
