Join our dedicated Children With Disabilities Team in Staffordshire as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) / Senior Practitioner (SP) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting children with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met while promoting their welfare and development. Your expertise will guide the delivery of high-quality social work services, working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to create supportive environments for children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure ongoing support and intervention as needed. Providing expert advice and guidance to social work colleagues and stakeholders. Engaging in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children.To thrive in this role, you will need essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children with disabilities and their families. Strong assessment and analytical skills.
