Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and risks of unaccompanied asylum-seeking children. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to young people, fostering resilience and independence. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work. Building strong relationships with external agencies, stakeholders, and community organizations to enhance service delivery.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience working with children and young people, particularly in the context of asylum and immigration. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
