Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments of prospective kinship carers, including home visits and interviews. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of children and families. Providing ongoing support and supervision to kinship carers, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed for successful placements. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, reports, and documentation in compliance with local authority policies. Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance personal and professional growth.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in assessing and supporting kinship care or related fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
