Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of kinship placements to ensure they meet the needs of the child. Developing and implementing support plans tailored to the individual needs of children and their kinship carers. Providing ongoing support, guidance, and training to kinship carers to enhance their parenting skills. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children and families.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working in child protection or family support settings, particularly with kinship care. Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.
