Join our dedicated team in Bolton as a Supervising Social Worker specializing in Kinship Care. We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional who is committed to supporting families and ensuring the best outcomes for children in kinship placements. In this role, you will oversee and guide a team of social workers, providing them with the necessary support and supervision to deliver high-quality services to kinship families.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Supervising and mentoring a team of social workers, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices. Conducting assessments and reviews of kinship placements to ensure the safety and well-being of children. Developing and implementing support plans for kinship families, addressing their unique needs and challenges. Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to promote effective service delivery. Providing training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in kinship care.

To be considered for this role, you must possess a recognized social work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent) and hold current registration with Social Work England. You should have substantial experience in child protection and kinship care, along with excellent assessment and intervention skills. Strong leadership and communication abilities are essential, as well as a commitment to promoting the welfare of children and families.
