Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing a team of social workers, providing supervision and support to ensure effective case management. Ensuring that safeguarding practices are adhered to, and that the welfare of children and families is prioritized. Collaborating with partner agencies to develop integrated services that meet the needs of families. Monitoring and evaluating team performance, implementing improvements as necessary. Contributing to strategic planning and development of services within the Family Safeguarding framework.To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding, with a proven track record in a management or supervisory role. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
