We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Swindon, specializing in Children with Disabilities. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and their families, providing essential support and guidance to enhance their well-being and development.

As a Social Worker in this role, you will be responsible for a variety of key duties, including:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children with disabilities and their families to identify needs and develop tailored support plans. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, educators, and community organizations, to ensure holistic support for children. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, facilitating access to resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in child protection meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies to ensure the safety and welfare of vulnerable children.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work) and current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience working with children with disabilities and their families in a social work capacity. Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child welfare and disability services. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
