We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) team in Swindon. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving the lives of children and their families, providing support and guidance to those with complex needs. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality services.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify needs and develop tailored support plans. Working closely with children, families, and other professionals to ensure effective service delivery and continuity of care. Advocating for children’s rights and ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes. Monitoring and reviewing cases regularly to ensure the safety and well-being of children. Providing guidance and support to families, helping them navigate available resources and services.To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience working with children with disabilities and their families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
