We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Swindon, specializing as a Parenting Assessor. This role is crucial in supporting families and ensuring the safety and welfare of children. You will be responsible for assessing parenting capabilities, providing recommendations, and facilitating support services to enhance family dynamics. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of parenting skills and family dynamics. Preparing detailed reports and recommendations for court proceedings. Engaging with families to develop tailored support plans. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies. Providing training and guidance to less experienced staff as needed.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in social work, with a focus on parenting assessments. Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
