Join our dedicated team in Swindon as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) focusing on Positive Futures and Corporate Parenting. We are seeking a passionate and experienced social worker who is committed to improving the lives of children and young people in care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working collaboratively with families, local authorities, and partner agencies.

As a QSW, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored care plans for children and young people. Working closely with children, families, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for those in care. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive parents, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategic planning for service improvements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and corporate parenting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
