This pivotal role will involve leading a team of qualified social workers to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children in our community.
As the Team Manager, you will be responsible for a range of key duties, including:
Overseeing the assessment and intervention processes for child protection cases. Providing supervision and support to social workers to enhance their professional development. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to coordinate effective service delivery. Monitoring and evaluating team performance, implementing best practices to improve outcomes.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Extensive experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
