We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Team Manager for our Children in Need team in Harrow. As a Team Manager, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality services, ensuring that the needs of children and families are at the forefront of our work.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing a team of social workers, providing supervision, support, and guidance to ensure effective practice. Overseeing case management, ensuring that assessments and interventions are timely, appropriate, and in line with statutory requirements. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to coordinate support services for children and families. Monitoring and evaluating team performance, implementing improvement plans as necessary. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation, policy changes, and best practices in social work.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience working within children’s services, with a strong understanding of safeguarding principles. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
