Join our dedicated team as a Team Manager for Children with Disabilities in the Nort Team, Nottingham City. We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to lead a dynamic group of social workers committed to providing exceptional support to children with disabilities and their families. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing case management, ensuring compliance with legislation, and promoting best practices in social work.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading and managing a team of social workers, providing supervision, support, and professional development. Ensuring timely and effective assessments and interventions for children with disabilities. Collaborating with external agencies, stakeholders, and families to create comprehensive support plans. Monitoring and evaluating the quality of service delivery, ensuring adherence to local authority policies and procedures. Managing complex cases, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

A relevant social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in social work, particularly with children with disabilities. Strong leadership and management abilities, with a proven track record in team development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
