We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager for our Family Help Team in the picturesque Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. This pivotal role involves leading a passionate team of social workers and support staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to families in need. You will play a crucial part in driving improvements in practice, promoting a culture of continuous learning, and fostering positive relationships with families and partner agencies.
As the Team Manager, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing case management and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice standards. Providing effective supervision, guidance, and support to team members, facilitating professional development and performance management. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to improve outcomes for children and families. Managing budgets and resources efficiently while maintaining high service delivery standards. Contributing to strategic planning and service development initiatives within the organization.To be successful in this role, you must have:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and family support services. Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
