We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager to lead our Family Support and Safeguarding Teams in North Somerset. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a passionate team of social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that prioritize the safety and well-being of children and families. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing and supervising a team of social workers, providing guidance and support in complex case management. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice standards in child protection and family support. Developing and implementing effective service delivery strategies to enhance outcomes for children and families. Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to promote integrated service provision. Monitoring performance and quality assurance, leading regular team meetings and case reviews.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and family support, with a proven track record in a management or supervisory role. Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with families and professionals.
