In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of qualified social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality social care services to children, families, and vulnerable adults in the community. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes the well-being and safety of those we serve.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and managing a team of social workers, providing guidance, support, and supervision. Overseeing case management processes and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Developing and implementing service improvements and best practices within the team. Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to enhance service delivery. Conducting regular performance reviews and facilitating professional development opportunities for team members.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience in social work practice, preferably in local authority settings. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
