As the Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the safeguarding team, ensuring that all cases are managed effectively and in accordance with relevant legislation and best practices. Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and supervising a team of qualified social workers and support staff. Providing expert guidance and support in complex case assessments and decision-making. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies. Developing and implementing training and development programs for team members. Collaborating with external agencies to promote integrated service delivery.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
