Join our dedicated team in Bolton as a Team Manager for the Safeguarding Team, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals within our community. As a leader in the Qualified Social Work field, you will oversee the implementation of safeguarding practices, manage a team of skilled social workers, and collaborate with various agencies to provide comprehensive support to those in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing the Safeguarding Team, ensuring high standards of practice and effective service delivery. Providing supervision, support, and professional development opportunities for team members. Conducting complex case assessments and reviews to ensure the best outcomes for service users. Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with local agencies and stakeholders to promote safeguarding initiatives. Ensuring compliance with safeguarding legislation, policies, and procedures.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, CSS, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience in social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
