Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work team in Stoke on Trent as a Qualified Social Worker specializing in the Court Team. We are looking for passionate individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a diverse range of professionals and contribute to meaningful change in the community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Preparing court reports and attending court hearings to advocate for the best interests of children. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and other stakeholders. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly within the court system. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children and families.
