We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Preparing for Adulthood Team in Newham. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting young people aged 16-25 as they transition into adulthood and independence.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for young people in care Providing advocacy and support to help young people access education, employment, and housing Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the holistic well-being of young people Participating in reviews and case conferences to monitor progress and make recommendations for ongoing supportThe ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification Registered with Social Work England Demonstrated experience working with children and young people in a social care setting Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAdditional requirements for this role include a commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to undergo relevant training.
