We are currently seeking a dedicated Adoption Social Worker to join our team in Lincolnshire. As an Adoption Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the adoption process and supporting families through this life-changing journey.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting assessments of prospective adoptive parents to ensure suitability and readiness for adoption. Providing support and guidance to adoptive families throughout the adoption process. Collaborating with other professionals, such as psychologists and legal teams, to ensure the best interests of the child. Completing detailed reports and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony when necessary.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work degree and HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience in adoption services and a strong understanding of the adoption process. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with families and other professionals. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong analytical and assessment skills to evaluate complex family dynamics and situations.
