We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Cared for Children team in Rochdale. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in care Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the safety and well-being of children Participating in case conferences, court hearings, and reviews Offering guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families Advocating for the best interests of children and promoting their rights

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage challenging situations Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to child protection
