Join our dedicated team in Trafford as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) within the First Response Team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for responding to new referrals and assessing the immediate needs of children and families in crisis. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals while working collaboratively with other professionals and community organizations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans for children and families in need. Providing timely and effective responses to safeguarding concerns. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive case records in compliance with local and national standards. Engaging with families to build trusting relationships and facilitate access to support services. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for children and families.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
