As a Supervising Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Carrying out assessments and supervising foster placements to ensure the highest standards of care. Providing ongoing support, training, and guidance to foster carers to enhance their skills and confidence. Conducting regular visits and maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to safeguard the welfare of children. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of fostering services.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in fostering or child protection services is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
