Join our dedicated team in Walsall as a Qualified Social Worker specializing in Children in Care. We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate professional who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and their families. In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children in care, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring that the best interests of children are always prioritized.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify needs and risks. Developing and reviewing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to children in care to promote their emotional and social well-being. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local authority policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure integrated support.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children in care or in a similar social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
