Join our dedicated team in Wiltshire as an Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) specializing in Children & Families. As an Independent Reviewing Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting regular reviews of care plans for children and young people to ensure they meet their needs. Facilitating multi-agency meetings and ensuring effective communication between all parties involved in a child's care. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice guidelines. Providing expert advice and support to social workers, families, and external agencies. Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to child reviews and care plans.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience in children’s services and knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
