Join our dedicated Adoption Support Team in Wolverhampton as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of adoptive families to identify needs and develop tailored support plans. Providing direct support and guidance to adoptive parents and children, facilitating workshops and training sessions. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for families. Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies. Participating in court proceedings and contributing to reports as required.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in adoption support or related fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse families.
