Join our Family Finding Team in Wolverhampton, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring that children are placed in loving and supportive environments. As a member of our Family Finding Team, you will be responsible for:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify suitable family members and friends for children in care. Developing and implementing family finding strategies to promote family connections. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best interests of children are prioritized. Providing support and guidance to families throughout the reunification process. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, BA Hons in Social Work, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and family support work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
