Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Worcestershire County Council is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Child Protection (CP) and Children in Need (CIN) Team. As a Social Worker in the CP/CIN Team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and working collaboratively with families and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need. Developing and reviewing child protection and support plans. Engaging with families and providing guidance and support to improve their situations. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions.The ideal candidate will possess a recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills and qualifications include:
Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong assessment and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
