We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Team Manager for our Intake Team in Hounslow. This pivotal role will support the management and coordination of the intake process for social work cases, ensuring that families and individuals receive the necessary support and services in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a commitment to promoting the wellbeing of our community.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting the Team Manager in overseeing the intake process, ensuring efficient and effective case management. Supervising and mentoring a team of social workers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Conducting assessments and reviews of incoming cases, making informed decisions on service provision. Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve service delivery. Building relationships with external agencies and stakeholders to enhance service integration.The successful candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in social work, particularly within an intake or assessment setting. Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
