Join our dedicated South Locality Team in Buckinghamshire as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) specializing in Child Protection (CP) and Children in Need (CIN) cases. We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual who is committed to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and their families. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing needs, developing care plans, and implementing interventions to ensure the safety and well-being of children within the community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports. Working closely with multi-agency teams to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Participating in regular supervision and professional development activities.To succeed in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
