- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs.
- Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.
- Working closely with multi-agency teams to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.
- Participating in regular supervision and professional development activities.
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
