Join our dedicated Family Safeguarding Team at Awdry House in Cambridgeshire as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW). We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to safeguard vulnerable children and promote their well-being.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans that support families in achieving positive outcomes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements. Engaging with families, children, and partners to build trusting relationships and facilitate effective support. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance practice and share knowledge.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience working within child protection and safeguarding frameworks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
