Cheshire West is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Family Help Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children and families. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services, assessing needs, and developing effective intervention strategies to support families in achieving their goals.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of families to identify needs and strengths. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to families in crisis, ensuring their safety and well-being. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, documentation, and case notes in compliance with local policies and procedures. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of effective service delivery.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in a social work role, preferably within a family support or child protection context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and collaborate with various stakeholders.
