Cheshire West is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Family Help Team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of families to identify needs and strengths.
- Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Providing direct support and guidance to families in crisis, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, documentation, and case notes in compliance with local policies and procedures.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of effective service delivery.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in a social work role, preferably within a family support or child protection context.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
