We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Advanced Practitioner to join our Locality Team in Yorkshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need within the local community.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Undertaking assessments of children and families to identify their needs and develop appropriate support plans. Providing direct intervention and support to children and families to safeguard their well-being and promote positive outcomes. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, partner agencies, and stakeholders to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of children and families. Offering consultation, guidance, and training to colleagues and external partners on complex cases and best practice in child protection.The essential qualifications and skills for this role include:
Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience in child protection, assessment, and intervention within a social work setting. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to children's services. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage competing priorities, and maintain a high standard of professional practice.Additional requirements for this position may include a valid driver's license, as travel within the locality may be necessary.
