Join our dedicated Children's ASW - CIC Team in Coventry, where we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children in care. We are seeking a passionate and qualified social worker to provide high-quality support and guidance to children and young people who are in care. You will work collaboratively with families, other professionals, and community resources to ensure the best outcomes for our children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and young people. Providing direct support and advocacy for children in care, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are upheld. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to deliver integrated services and support. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, making necessary adjustments to care plans as required. Maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with statutory and organizational requirements.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection, safeguarding, and working with children in care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and professionals.
