We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Manager to join our CWD Team in South Gloucestershire on an interim basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality social care services to children with disabilities and their families. You will lead a team of social workers and practitioners, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and supervising a team of social workers, providing guidance and support in case management. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to the needs of children with disabilities. Conducting assessments and reviews, ensuring that the voices of children and families are heard and considered. Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to service delivery. Monitoring and evaluating team performance, implementing improvements where necessary.To be considered for this role, candidates must hold a relevant social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. Additionally, you should possess:
Significant experience in children's social work, particularly with children with disabilities. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
