We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children’s SM/QA professional to join our Safeguarding Team in Plymouth on an interim basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our care. As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality safeguarding practices while conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to enhance service delivery.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting quality assurance audits and safeguarding assessments to ensure compliance with national standards. Collaborating with social workers and other professionals to develop and implement safeguarding plans. Providing training and support to staff on safeguarding policies and procedures. Engaging with families and children to gather feedback and improve service effectiveness. Preparing reports and presenting findings to senior management and stakeholders.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A relevant degree in Social Work, Child Protection, or a related field. Proven experience in safeguarding children and quality assurance within a social care setting. Strong analytical and assessment skills, with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
