Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Team in Gloucestershire as a Qualified Social Worker specializing in the SP-CP sector. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in partnership with families and other agencies. Managing a caseload of children in need, ensuring timely and effective interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences. Providing support, guidance, and training to foster carers and other professionals.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. A minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in children's social work. Strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
