Join our dedicated Children's Social Work team in Southwark as a Qualified Social Worker in the Family Help Team. We are seeking passionate and skilled professionals who are committed to enhancing the lives of children and families in our community. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and various stakeholders to provide support and interventions that promote safety, well-being, and positive outcomes for children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments of children's needs and risks to ensure their safety and welfare. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to collaborative decision-making processes.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly in family support and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Competence in working within multi-disciplinary teams and a commitment to continuous professional development.
