Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? Rotherham's Children’s SSW - CIC Team is seeking a dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support children in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development while working collaboratively with families and other professionals.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing tailored care plans for children in care. Working closely with families to support reunification and maintain positive relationships. Monitoring the progress of children and ensuring their needs are met in accordance with legislation and best practices. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to provide comprehensive support and intervention. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience working with children and families, particularly those in care. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
