Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing tailored care plans for children in care.
  • Working closely with families to support reunification and maintain positive relationships.
  • Monitoring the progress of children and ensuring their needs are met in accordance with legislation and best practices.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency teams to provide comprehensive support and intervention.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience working with children and families, particularly those in care.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a caseload effectively.
