The London Borough of Ealing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker (SSW) to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with various agencies to assess and respond to safeguarding concerns, ensuring that children receive the support they need to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Working closely with partner agencies to share information and develop effective intervention plans. Managing a caseload of children and families, providing ongoing support and monitoring progress. Participating in strategy meetings and contributing to child protection conferences. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and child protection procedures.
