Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Assessment and Family Help Team in West Berkshire, where your expertise will make a significant impact on the lives of children and families. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will engage with families in need, conducting assessments and implementing effective interventions to support positive outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families, identifying their needs and strengths. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and relevant agencies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local policies and procedures. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection plans. Providing guidance and support to families, ensuring they have access to relevant resources and services.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
